初めまして。私はベガ•ジョナサンと申します。イリノイ大学シカゴ校に2020年に計算機科学の理学士を卒業しました。生まれはアメリカのシカゴ市で大学に卒業の時に福島県に引っ越して来ました。VR/ARとテレビゲームを作るのがに興味を持っています。テレビゲームやアプリ会社に勤めるなんて興味津々です。
Hello! I'm Jonathan Vega 🪶 I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Fall of 2020 with a B.S. in Computer Science. I’m an aspiring video game programmer with interests in VR/AR technologies, game development, and mobile development, and I’m looking for a challenging role where I can collaborate, grow, and learn! My research for the Electronic Visualization Laboratory earned me the UIC Chancellor’s Undergraduate Research Award in 2020, and I also presented an interactive map with accessibility in mind during the UIC 2019 Engineering Expo.

Undergraduate Researcher, Electronic Visualization Laboratory

2020, May — 2021, February

Research Experience and Visualization of Parameters from Multiple Numerical Simulations Under the supervision of EVL associate professor Georgeta-Elisabeta Marai, I focused upon learning how to visualize a data set for intuitive analysis. Specifically, I used contrail data to evaluate particle temperature over a given range of time with the goal of better understanding the impact of contrails on global warming. My research earned me the UIC Chancellor’s Undergraduate Research Award in 2020.

I graduated Fall of 2020 with a BS in Computer Science with a GPA of 3.05/4.00. During my time as a student, I've also attended a few events, such as participating in a Hispanic Summit at Google’s headquarters in Chicago, job shadowed at a Fortune 500 company, and attended the SACNAS 2019 conference in Hawaii that promotes the advancement of Native Americans and Hispanics in Science.
